Tulsa Club Renovation
The Tulsa Club, an eleven story Art Deco skyscraper in the edge of Tulsa’s Deco District, was originally designed by Bruce Goff. After a 22 year vacancy, this building has been restored to a luxury boutique hotel and event venue. Existing structural systems included conventional reinforced concrete columns, two-way concrete flat plates, one-way concrete pan joist systems. Key project challenges included structural reinforcement around new floor openings, adding 3,300 sf to the 5th level floor plate, and documenting repair types and quantities.
360 Engineering Group provided documentation and analysis of existing structural systems and structural design for repairs and system reinforcement. Additionally, 360 Engineering provided cold-formed steel framing design and detailing for the 5th level floor plate extension.
