The Tulsa Club, an eleven-story Art Deco skyscraper in the edge of Tulsa’s Deco District, was originally designed by Bruce Goff. After a 22-year vacancy, this building was restored to a luxury boutique hotel and event venue. Existing structural systems included conventional reinforced concrete columns, two-way concrete flat plates, one-way concrete pan joist systems. Key project challenges included structural reinforcement around new floor openings, adding 3,300 sf to the 5th level floor plate, and documenting repair types and quantities.
